The Sentaero Payload Family Just Got Stronger: TrueView 540 Now Available Through Censys Technologies

TrueView 540 delivers high-accuracy LiDAR and true color point clouds for Sentaero drone mapping workflows

GeoCue is pleased to partner with Censys Technologies as the Sentaero payload ecosystem expands to include the TrueView 540 high performance dual sensor LiDAR and RGB system.

The TrueView 540 is a big step forward for operators who want engineering-grade 3D measurement and high-resolution visual context from a single, tightly integrated payload. It combines a high scan rate LiDAR sensor with a 45 megapixel RGB camera, giving teams the ability to capture accurate structure and rich imagery in one sortie and produce colorized point clouds from a single flight.

And when you process the data in LP360, you can take colorization even further. LP360 supports ray tracing-based workflows that deliver true 3D colorization, so your point cloud is not just “painted” from above. It is colorized with real-world context that helps you see what is there, with clarity and confidence.

For operators, the value is simple. With TrueView 540 on the Sentaero 6, you can collect high precision topography and high resolution RGB imagery in one mission. No more planning separate LiDAR-only and RGB-only flights. That means less time in the field, less operational complexity, and lower total cost per deliverable. You get more insight from every flight.

This combination also opens the door to a wider range of use cases across infrastructure, utilities, transportation, and environmental monitoring. Corridor mapping, right-of-way and vegetation monitoring, change detection, and survey-grade modeling all benefit from having both the structural truth of LiDAR and the visual confirmation of RGB available together in the same dataset.

The workflow does not stop at collection. Datasets captured with TrueView 540 can flow into the Censys software ecosystem, including CensWise, where integrated LiDAR and imagery help power automated and actionable insights. For example, LiDAR-based vegetation encroachment detection becomes easier to validate when the matching RGB imagery is right there for visual confirmation, without bouncing between separate datasets and tools. That tighter workflow helps shorten the time from data capture to decision making.

At GeoCue, we are focused on helping teams move faster while maintaining the data quality that real-world operations depend on. The TrueView 540 on Sentaero supports that goal by closing gaps between measurement, context, and analysis, so results that used to take days can often be delivered in hours.

We are excited to work with Censys Technologies to bring this capability to more operators and more missions.
